I know that this is a difficult time for you and your family and I am here to support you from the first meeting through to the funeral.
This starts with getting to know you and listening to how you would like to celebrate the life of your loved one. An important part is listening to the story of their life as you reminisce about your loved one, sharing memories and stories.
I will work with you to decide on the format of the funeral and who would wish to participate in the ceremony. I can support you in choosing the music, readings, or poetry.

I take your memories and wishes to write a personal and meaningful ceremony that honours the person who has died.

I focus on what made them special and unique.

I create ceremonies that consider yours and the deceased personal beliefs, creating either a completely secular service or one that contains some religious elements.

On the day of the funeral, I will be there to support you through the ceremony. After the ceremony I will provide you with a transcript for you to keep.
About Me
Creativity is a passion of mine and something I have woven into all areas of my working life, more recently through bookbinding, calligraphy and Kintsugi. Every life is unique and I cherish the opportunity to mark the lives of loved ones with personal and memorable commemoration.

Prior to becoming a Celebrant, I had the privilege of working in education as a Primary School Headteacher and consultant where I worked with and supported, a wide range of people. After I experienced the excellent support of a celebrant during the time of a personal loss, I knew that it was right for me to undertake the training myself. This enables me to use my skills to support families at this important and difficult time. I believe that every life should be cherished and celebrated.

I am a trained Funeral Celebrant and a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants.
